AN UNEXPECTED JOURNEY

Your journey can end but the ROADs are always there!

I remember the day when a call came from an unknown number and I was shocked because I never had a phone call from unsaved number, my brother picked up the call and it was from the Amal Academy. O yes, I got a chance to give the interview and clear all the steps, these steps were looking really hard to me because there were a lot of people who were more confident and interactive but by a miracle I was selected.

The journey has changed my life with the angle of 180 degree, where I was a girl who hesitate to share her feelings and interact with people.

In the first two weeks of fellowship, I was introduced with a person who was always there but was never noticed and that was me. When I joined the course ‘knowing yourself’ I was just disappointed what kind of fellowship and course it is? But as the time was passing by, I really understood that yes it’s you who can give you motivation, strength and will never leave you, so knowing myself was the best part in this journey.

Memories can be built within seconds, that can never be forgotten and there are a lot of things in nature that reminds you of them. Reflecting to the past three months a lot of memories came into mind that cannot be described in words.

It is very much difficult for me to recognize the best part of the fellowship, but there is one, i.e. My Facilitators, there smiling faces and there way of interacting with all of us, whatever we have said they gave us the feedback and motivated us even on our mistakes. And also the fellows who always motivated other fellows through there kind and precious feedback.

The fellowship introduced me to my goals, the team work, time management, networking and many other skills. Also it taught me to become happy even in the hardest of the time.

Everything reminds me of the fellowship but there is something special that significantly push me to reflect back on the journey, that is pic on my phone screen that has the reflection of trees in water, I have just learned the reflection concept in my fellowship and it reminds me to reflect on journey.

REFLECTION OF JOURNEY JUST LIKE REFLECTION OF TREES IN WATER

My respect for AMAL can’t be explained in words, I just want to Thank AMAL and AMAL TEAM for selecting me and giving me such an amazing experience of knowing myself.
